How to submit

TO SUBMIT, please follow the below instructions to the best of your ability to help make things easier for our small - but mighty- team:
​
Submit your finished piece(s) (maximum of 2 individual works/series) for FREE to polemicalzine@gmail.com by our deadline with the subject line: BLUE Submission.
​
No pitch or bio is necessary. If you want your bio published next to your work, you MUST include it under "Caption" in the below.
​
Attach your art as a JPG/PNG or Word doc, naming the file with the title of the piece. For songs, please attach the album artwork or a photo of the artist(s). No headshot is required.
In the body of the email, list your details in the following bulleted format:

City, Country (or Country only)

Instagram Handle (optional)

Website or Online Portfolio URL (optional)

Caption/Accompanying Text (optional)

Specific formatting requests (optional)
​Your details will be published alongside your piece(s) in the magazine.
IF SUBMITTING A SONG/ALBUM RELEASE OR VIDEO: On top of the above, please also paste your URL (link) in the body of the email. For videos, a screen capture of the video will be published and linked to your URL.

What to submit
Each issue has an overarching theme which can be interpreted in any way contributors see fit. We will never question if a submission belongs under a certain theme - if a contributor sees a match, their piece(s) will be accepted.
Submissions may include - but are not limited to - any of the following:

If art is deemed to be hateful or inappropriate, the artist will be contacted to submit a different piece(s).
​
Pieces which have already been posted to social media and/or shared in other publications will be accepted as long as the social media account or the publication has given its permission.
